Benidorm is located about 45 kilometres northeast of Alicante, just south of Altea and is the main attraction along the Costa Blanca. Despite its skyscraper skyline it stands for beach and nightlife. Plenty of nightlife. Surrounded by high mountains, Benidorm is perfectly protected against the sometimes cold north winds. Therefore the temperature seldom goes below 19° C in the Winter.

Amongst the places to visit is Casco Antiguo in the the old city centre, unfortunately not much left only the San Lorenzo, Santa Fez and San Vicente Streets mark the remains of old Benidorm. Two beaches, the Playa de Poniente and the Playa de Levante are about 5 kilometres. Along most of the Playa de Poniente Beach heavy traffic passes . So if you looking for a quite and relaxing sunbathe Playa de Levante is for you.
