Quiet village surrounded by Florida style golf courses

Sucina is a village 12 kilometres inland from Alcázares, a Mar Menor seaside town, until recently a really sleepy village the centre of the local farming community, with a wide variety of fruit and vegetables grown in the vicinity.

Many of the local farms have now been sold for the development of golf and sports resorts, for example Polaris World Golf, but the village still manages to maintain the traditional Spanish countryside feel. However there are sufficient shops, banks, restaurants and a post office here, so it is not necessary to leave the village for the larger towns, if you wish to stay in this tranquil spot.
